As I evaluate the assessment from early on in the
class I found that my scores are pretty much the same only I would say I am a
deeper 8.5 spiritually, and a psychologically I would raise myself to a 8 as I
have been using the practices and developing my inner peace more readily. Now
my physical score, well honestly have dropped and I could just kick myself. But
as I know that with exercise comes less stress, better sleep, more energy, and
more knowledge with blood flow and better health. So guess what I will be doing…
I continue to feel confident in my goals as each
area has shown openness and opportunity to grow and become a happier, healthier
and whole person. This class has brought me to realize my career goal of being
a wellness coach is on target and has invited me to better develop the idea of demonstrating
and implementing pathways for others to grow into a healthier, happier, and
whole people.
This class has been an encouragement to me as I have
developed an understanding of others through the weekly blog and hearing of
their experiences. Knowing that others struggled at first with the practices yet
with practice they too were able to grow as I was. I will continue to work on
my loving-kindness and subtle mind to develop my ability to help others find
their inner peace.

Hi Pam,
ReplyDeleteIt was good to read your post and to know that we are all not alone in the physical quest to improve our health. I know that when my mind is at peace and calm I can do anything, however that is what I need to work on is the mind. Continue to be encouraged in your well doing and remember it takes baby steps to get to the next level. I pray that you will have much success in all areas of your well being.

Hi Pam,
ReplyDeleteMy guess is you will be doing more physical activties to increase that energy flow.... Yay for you! I too, truly enjoyed the expeirnce of HW420 and will be integrating the lessons and techniques learned into my wellness sessions as well. Creating a lifestyle change is a challenging and unique experience but no one is really alone in the quest. Keep in mind the activities you enjoyed as a child when you played outdoors, get some children involved and make it fun while encouraging youth to be active. Not too many are these days and once they have the experience they will be overjoyed. Remember to vary your activities so you don't get too bored and/or get stuck in a rut. And most of connect to your inner child and have fun!!!

Hi Pam,
ReplyDeleteIt's so interesting assessing ourselves in this holistic light, because whereas sometimes we might beat ourselves up about not working out enough, for example, this assessment from three perspectives shows how healthy we are in other ways. Knowing you are strong in two other areas somehow makes fixing just one other area seem more attainable. After all, you're already two thirds of the way there!
It sounds as if you have lots of positive energy to channel into your physical health goals, and I hope to tackle mine in the same spirit.
I wish you all the best with your goals!
Deb :-)
